At Shammah Kids Academy we believe that early childhood is the most important stage of learning. Our goal is to create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where every child can grow with confidence. Through structured learning, play-based activities, and guided development aligned with ECD standards, we help children build strong foundations in communication, creativity, and social skills.

Shammah Kids Academy is a caring Early Childhood Development centre in Nellmapius dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and prepare for school.
Our focus is on early learning, strong values, and individual attention so every child develops confidence and a love for learning.
Classes / Learning Groups
The centre follows structured ECD learning groups aligned with South African early childhood development standards. Each group focuses on age-appropriate learning and development milestones.
Group 1 – Early Learners (2–3 Years)
This stage focuses on early stimulation, emotional security, and basic developmental skills. Children develop language through songs, storytelling, and conversation. Activities support fine and gross motor development, early social interaction, and curiosity through play-based learning. Teachers focus on helping children feel safe, confident, and comfortable in a structured environment.
Group 2 – Foundation Learners (3–4 Years) – Two Classes
At this stage children begin more structured learning activities. Focus areas include early numeracy, vocabulary building, creative expression, and group interaction. Children participate in puzzles, drawing, storytelling, music, and guided play. Teachers support independence, communication skills, and problem solving. This level prepares children for pre-school readiness.

Group 3 – School Readiness (4–5 Years) – Two Classes
This level prepares children for formal schooling. Learning activities include early literacy, number recognition, listening skills, structured play, and classroom routines. Children develop concentration, confidence, and social skills. Activities follow principles aligned with the South African CAPS foundation phase approach to ensure children transition smoothly into Grade R and primary school.
Small class sizes ensure individual attention and strong teacher-child interaction.
